Dr. Ray Scurfield is the principal therapist consultant for setting up educational groups for veterans. Ray is an Associate Professor in the School for Social Work at the University of Southern Mississippi. A Vietnam Veteran, he worked for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs for 25 years and directed PTSD programs in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii.
Dr. John Bransford is a world renowned cognitive scientist and the author of How People Learn (1999 National Academy of Science). John’s work on challenge-based learning is the foundation of many of Little Planet Learning’s courses and the inspiration for the methodology for this project.

Len Bickman, Ph.D., the Director of the Center of Evaluation and Program Improvement at Vanderbilt University. The Center applies state-of-the-art scientific research and analytic procedures to evaluate mental health programs. It is currently evaluating PTSD assessments and access to psychological care across all armed services in a multi-million dollar grant from the DoD.
