    Executive Director

Jeff Searcy brings 20 years of management, sales and marketing experience to the leadership of NOT ALONE. Highly energized and a bit unconventional, Jeff is incredibly passionate about what he does and who he serves. He laughs and says, "My comfort level is cruising at Mach 10 with my hair on fire."

Before starting NOT ALONE, this proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps served America's combat-injured troops as Executive Vice President of the Wounded Warrior Project. Under Jeff's leadership, annual fundraising and marketing revenues rose over tenfold in just three years. “Working for and serving our nation’s warriors and their families continues to be one of the most rewarding things I have ever done,” Jeff said. Jeff holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s in Public Administration, both from Kennesaw State University, and a Certificate in Fundraising Management from Indiana University.

Jeff lives in St Augustine, Florida with his wife and their two sons.

    Carter Andrews

    Chairman and Co-Founder

Carter Andrews practiced law at Tune, Entrekin and White for five years before moving into real estate development for five years. After leaving the real estate business, Andrews was the first non-founder hired at AmSurg Corp. At AmSurg, Carter developed the sales and marketing approach and developed joint venture deals with medical practices.

After helping take AmSurg public in 2000, Carter joined Little Planet Learning as the partner in charge of business development. At that time, the company was exiting the education business to focus on creating broadband online learning experiences for corporate clients. Under Carter’s 8-year sales and marketing leadership, the company established a worldwide reputation as the leader in high quality, emotionally engaging education that tackles important business and societal challenges. For example, Carter was at the helm of creating a technology-based program for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to teach school principals how to prepare students for the 21st century workforce. Carter’s vision and personal experience have been the driving force behind making NOT ALONE a reality for our nation's warriors and their families.
